Our Odlums Extra Coarse Wholemeal Flour is wholegrain flour with nothing added or nothing taken out. It is principally used for traditional Irish Soda Bread recipes, and can also be added to other bakes for extra fibre. Also known as Brown Flour.

My sister taught me how to make Ballymaloe brown bread using Odlums Wholemeal Extra Course flour and created a monster! Now that I know what real bread is like, I will not eat any other bread! This flour is super healthy and super easy to work with. I love it and I love the customer service from Food Ireland!

This is sensational flour. Unless I grind the wheat myself, I cannot get a flour of this coarseness. Everything I make with this flour has the deep heartiness I want. With no other flour can I make an authentic Irish soda or brown bread.
