Ingredients

1.5 lbs Autumn Fruits (cooking apples, blackberries, blueberries etc.)
6oz Odlums Self Raising Flour
Pinch of Cinnamon
4oz Butter (at room temperature)
4oz Light Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
4 tablespoons Cold Water
Sugar to sweeten fruit

Method

1.Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Lightly grease an ovenproof pie dish.
2.Peel, core and slice apples. Mix the fruit used and place in the prepared pie dish; sweeten with sugar.
3.Put the remaining ingredients into a large mixing bowl and using the “all in one” method, beat all ingredients together until smooth.
4.Spread over the fruit and bake until nicely risen and golden brown, about 40 minutes. Serve hot with custard, cream or ice cream.
