The best sliced loaf in the world!!

The Batch or "Plain" Loaf is the best sliced bread since sliced bread! A hugely popular daily slice in Ireland and combines a cakey doughy texture with a dark nutty crust and is perfect for both toast and sandwiches and is delicious with both savory and sweet spreads! There are many varieties in Ireland with Brennans being one of the most popular!
My personal recommendation is to melt some Dubliner cheddar on it and spread some HP sauce over it and enjoy it with a cup of Barry's or Bewleys tea!
A true favourite of the Irish and highly recommended!!!
