|
| About our Irish Ham | | This is the only Irish cured ham you will find in the USA. The lean muscle of the top round of pork is butcher cut to form the ham. The Irish cure mixture is imported from Ireland. The hams are cured to our specifications. This ham ( AKA Gammon) is essentially a baking ham. Some bake it directly, most would boil it for a while before baking. The Lean layer of fat on the back of the ham holds a glaze very well. There is a recipe for Whiskey Baked ham in our recipe section - you could use this as a reference point for cooking and can use your own favorite glaze. You may wish to tie the ham before cooking to get that preferred round shape. |

I bought your ham last year and it was excellent. It reminded me of ham my mother used to cook in Ireland when I was a child. I have ordered another one for this holiday. Hope it as good!
